Conflict Resolution Policy

Policy

There are times when we may find ourselves disagreeing with one another. Regardless of the nature of the conflict, it is expected that all players will treat each other with respect and work together to find common ground.

Step 01: Contact the other player directly via email or private message. Describe to them what is frustrating or aggravating you in a way that is constructive and not unnecessarily confrontational or demeaning.

Step 02: If you feel the other player is not listening to or respecting your concerns, contact the commanding officer. They will serve as moderator and will help the players involved attempt to find resolution.

Step 03: If the situation still has not been resolved or the player you are in conflict with is the commanding officer, contact the task force commanding officer. They will direct you to the appropriate community resources for addressing and resolving your conflict.

Disciplinary Action

Failure to utilize the conflict resolution policy appropriately will result in disciplinary action.

Attempts will be made by the command staff to facilitate an equitable resolution between the players involved.

A player may be removed from the simulation if their unwillingness or inability to participate faithfully in the conflict resolution process is seen as detrimental to the sim and its members.

It is possible for individuals who have been removed as a result of unresolved conflict to be reinstated. However, they must discuss the matter with the commanding officer, resolve any existing conflict to the satisfaction of those involved, and commit to a plan of action that will minimize the chance of any potential issues moving forward.

Follow-Up

Questions, comments, and concerns are always welcomed and should be directed to a member of the command staff via private message or email.

Modification and enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of the commanding officer.
