| Physical Description | Sorek is by all regards average looking, build, height and wearing his hair in the same manner as most Vulcan males do. However, whenever not in uniform, Sorek does prefer simple loose fitting clothes that would best describe as suited for wearing on a rural farm. |

Personality Profile
| General Overview | Born and raised on a frontier colony, his parents wanted to be simple farmers but Sorek wanted to do more. Already having been an assistant at the colony's clinic, Starfleet seemed a logical choice to do more with their talents. Sorek knows life is not without hardship, he embraces that, but that doesn't mean he likes it when risk is taken needlessly and lands someone on his operating table. That said, he does try to respect that there is more than one way to do things, and that truth often lies in the middle of several perspectives, but he can be perhaps a little to forward with the truth, accepting that while it might be hard to accept, so is the hardship of life in space, and both must be accepted. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Sorek's commitment to honesty is both a strong point and also a weakpoint, since it also often unfiltered as well. However, it does mean that Sorek can be relied upon to give an honest and clear assessment of a situation. His rural upbringing and early experience with his colony's clinic means that he is used to performing medicine under less than ideal circumstances or without the latest technology. But it does sometimes upset those who focus on that technology when he seems almost casually dismissive of it when he must. However, following the example of Ambassador Spock, Sorek does not adhere to logic being the end all-be all. Instead, it is a starting point but there are other views to consider and he is happy to explore them. For him, truth is the result of many perspectives coming together. This does sometimes mean that he can be delayed in coming up with a result because he's evaluating all angles. |

| Ambitions & Goals | Sorek simply wants to see the final frontier and render aid to those out there. Anything else is isn't on his agenda, he has no interest in command or some cushy post at Starfleet Medical. This is where he wants to be and he's content to be here. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Sorek has a selection of plants from Taranko that he likes to maintain, reminders of home and his family. He will sometimes volunteer time in hydroponics as well to tend to the plants there. As well, he likes to go on nature hikes and horseback riding, taking in the sceneries where he can. |

Personal History
| Personal History | Sorek was born on Taranko colony, his parents having settled there after distinguished Starfleet careers. They were content with a life of simplicity in agricultural work, but Sorek was also interested in tending to the injuries of others. This got him an apprenticeship of sorts at the colony's clinic but the mundanity was starting to wear on him. As such, he put in for Starfleet Academy and was accepted in 2378. After graduating in 2382, he moved on to Medical school and graduated there in 2386. Sorek did not appear overly picky with his postings, but he did seem to favor those on the edges of Federation space and repeatedly put in for posts that would put him in the Delta Quadrant. He would earn recognition for working with others well and adapting to unusual situations. |
