Description		There are a total of three mess halls aboard Vesta-class starships: one for use by the ship’s officers, one for use by the ship’s non-commissioned officers, and one for use by the ship’s enlisted personnel. While all mess halls share some common features, each of these facilities is unique. Mess Hall (Officers) [Deck 08] The officers’ mess hall aboard the Vesta is located on deck eight. A large, double door provides entry to the room with turbolift access in the corridor just outside the entrance. A number of assorted tables and chairs typically take up much of the space within this large room during normal operations. Furniture can be rearranged to allow for hosting social gatherings, diplomatic affairs, and recreational events. Additionally, the room can be used as a makeshift sickbay whenever that facility is disabled or otherwise overwhelmed. Four replicators are located side-by-side along the bulkhead separating the mess hall from the corridor outside. A portion of the room at one end, opposite the main entryway, is partitioned off to form a private dining room which is accessible from the ship’s corridor. Mess Halls (NCO & Enlisted) [Deck 11] Separate mess hall facilities for non-commissioned officers and enlisted personnel are located on deck twelve. They are nearly identical to one another in design and layout. Two large, double doors provide entry to the room from either end with turbolift access in the corridor just outside the entrance. A number of assorted tables and chairs typically take up much of the space within this large room during normal operations. Furniture can be rearranged to allow for hosting social gatherings, diplomatic affairs, and recreational events. The standard configuration aboard most Vesta-class starships calls for a total of four replicators. Two of these replicators are located opposite each other, one at either end of the room. An additional two replicators are located side-by-side along the bulkhead separating the mess hall from the corridor outside.
