Mission:
Episode 02: "Samaritan"
Location: Security Office, USS Vesta
Timeline: Mission Day 01, 0930 Hours

Things had stepped up quite a bit through out the ship. Security was no different. Word of the ship explosion and everything that was going on had trickled down to Security pretty quickly. Tess had first heard of the incident from his Medbay staff that had reported the pilot being brought in for surgery. Then word came in that parts of the ship where being brought into Cargo Bay 2 and being quarantined for the time being.
Tess made her way out of her office into the larger Security suite. "Listen up. Call in B shift we are gonna need the extra manpower during shift changes. We need to get extra detail members to Medbay and Cargo Bay 2." She paused as she watched everyone stop and pay attention to what she was saying. She had not been in command here long but the crew had been receptive to her command style. "Also get me the Investigation Division Chief we are going to have some rubble to go through as soon as it is cleared from quarantine. We also have someone who will need questioned at some point." She finished and just like that everyone started to execute the orders.
Tess stood and watched as her orders went from words to actual actions. Security staff started calling in additional staff and no one payed a bit of attention to her. Tess was perfectly ok with this because it meant things where getting done. She turned to head into her office when she saw the Investigative division chief walk through the main doors. Tess caught his attention. "Your with me, Chief." She commanded as she disappeared into the office.
Once inside she walked behind her desk. By this time Chief had made his way into the office and was in front of her desk. "Have a seat." She said as the two sat down. Tess looked at new reports on her console on her desk. "Alright Chief looks like we will need your team to start a two prong investigation. One will be concentrated on the survivor as soon as you get clearance from the Doc. Second I need you to have your forensic specialists to work with Enigineering and figure out what happened to that ship. You have any and all resources you need and is your top priority I want something to tell the command staff before they even ask." She stopped and let her stare ensure the message she was sending. After a nod the Chief got up and got to work. Tess resumed overseeing new reports as they came in and started to work on a Critical Incident Report for the Command team.
