Player Activity Policy

Policy

As with any group effort, it takes cooperation and commitment from everyone to operate effectively. Your participation is vital to making this sim what it is.

All players are expected to participate in a timely and regular manner.

Players should strive for a minimum post count of once every fourteen (14) days – that is one (1) post every two weeks, working out as roughly two (2) posts a month.

Players are also expected to respond to tags in joint posts (JPs) promptly as it can be very difficult to move the story along if one or more contributors are not participating.

If you feel you cannot meet this activity requirement, you must contact the commanding officer. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis depending on your circumstances.

Disciplinary Action

Failure to consistently meet activity requirements or to work out an alternative arrangement with the commanding officer will result in disciplinary action.

Attempts will be made by the commanding officer to contact the player via private message and email. The goal of these contacts will be to identify any issues that may be affecting the player’s activity aboard the simulation and to develop a plan of action for how they might improve their participation.

A player may be removed from the simulation and placed on “inactive status” if their continued lack of activity is seen as detrimental to the sim’s progress. This includes players who meet either of the following qualifications:

  • one (1) month without logging into the simulation website
  • two (2) consecutive months without contributing to post-writing
It is possible for individuals who have been placed on “inactive status” to be reinstated. However, they must discuss the matter with the commanding officer and commit to a plan of action that will work toward meeting the activity requirements.

Questions, comments, and concerns are always welcomed and should be directed to a member of the command staff via private message or email.

Modification and enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of the commanding officer.
